Scientific Computing

Applications are invited for a tenure-track assistant professor
position in Scientific Computing, to begin September 1, 2014.
Applicants must hold a doctorate by the beginning of the appointment,
and must show promise of outstanding research in the area of
Scientific Computing.  Potential for excellence in college- level
teaching also required.  Preference will be given to candidates who
show strong potential for interaction with existing applied
mathematics research efforts in the department, including
computational PDEs, computational neuroscience, numerical linear
algebra, computational fluid dynamics, and inverse problems.

research statement, and a teaching statement. These documents should
