Q: How do I subscribe to a SCI mailing list?

A: Send an email to sympa@lists.sci.utah.edu with the following in the body of message:

subscribe listname you@fubar.com

You will receive a confirmation request, just reply to the message.

Q: How do I unsubscribe from a list?

A: Send an email to sympa@lists.sci.utah.edu with the following in the body of message:

unsubscribe listname you@fubar.com

You will recieve an email confirming that you have unsubscribed.

Q: How do I find out what lists are available for SCI?

A: Send an email to sympa@lists.sci.utah.edu with the following in the body of message:

Q: If I want to create a new mailing list, what should I do?

A: Send email to support@sci.utah.edu requesting the new mailing list. In the request, provide the list name, list manager, initial members (optional) and the password for the list management. Also include access requirement: public list, members only, etc.
